Law 25, in a nutshell
Law 25 governs the protection of personal information in Québec. As soon as a business collects personal information — even through a simple contact form — it has obligations: appoint a privacy officer, publish a privacy policy, obtain clear consent and keep an incident register.
Many small-business websites don’t comply, often without knowing it: misconfigured cookie banners, analytics tools that send data abroad, forms that collect more than necessary.
I’m not a lawyer and this is not legal advice — but I design every site to make compliance as simple as possible for you.

This site uses Plausible, an analytics tool that sets no cookies and collects no personal information. It cannot identify you or follow you from site to site.
Contact form
The information you submit (name, email, message) is forwarded to me by email through the Web3Forms service and is used solely to reply to you. It is never sold, shared, or used for mass mailing.
Your rights
You can ask at any time to access, correct or delete the information I hold about you: write to samuel.laprise@gmail.com.
